Your endless summer: Fun close to The Colony at The Lakes

Even more beautiful weather, fresh breezes, and more daylight hours make summer one of our favorite times of the year at The Colony At The Lakes. While we’ve got plenty to enjoy right at home with lots of sophisticated amenities, it’s fun to get out and about. We found some local events to celebrate summer even more. The West Covina Summer Concert Series is the perfect go-to for Wednesday nights. Now through July 26, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., enjoy free concerts at the West Covina Civic Center Courtyard (1444 W Garvey Ave, West Covina, CA 91790). The DJ kicks off the evening at 6:00 p.m. and the band starts at 7 p.m. For even more live music this summer and tasty taco trucks, check out the Covina Summer Music Festival. Or you can kick back and chill at Regal Cinemas West Covina, watching new movie releases such as Mission Impossible or Indiana Jones. And for the kids, the Cool Kids Of Summer: 5 Weeks Beat the Heat Series runs through August 4 from 11:30AM-1:30PM. For more info, please call 626 919-6966.
